The VOW V3 casing systems are the culmination of dozens of board builds and practical tests. They employ new gasket designs, bolting methods and printing techniques to create the most robust, spacious and efficient casings possible.
This casing is designed for symmetrical onewheel builds, with a need to utilise equal volume in the nose and tail and specifically as the front compartment for the 'Torque' XR size type. This entails Torque sized BANG Bumpers and standard footpads such as Mushies.
This box does require the lip on the BANG Torque Bumper that extends upwards on the wheel-side to be removed. It is a small mod that can be done with a sharp enough knife and some care.
The mounting holes for the Ennoid Mk8 must be filled with glue or silicon if unused.
There are two plastic options, PPA-CF is an insane engineering plastic doubling the strength specs of nylon carbon fiber, and PCTG is a highly affordable but still excellent choice for casual conditions.
Gasket Details: The Gaskets of the V3 systems fit into a machined groove in the lid instead of a printed groove in the casing. This allows for a much tighter tolerance and reduces the wall widths across the entire design, increasing internal volume
Bolt Details: The Bolts are now designed to be as long as possible in different sections of the casing to compress as much plastic as possible which increases strength. The Bolts have all been upgraded to M4 size where applicable.
Printing details: The geometry of these casings allows them to be printed at a 45 degree angle with minimal supports, which reduces the chance of failure at the casings main weakpoint, the layer lines. This, alongside the advanced new plastics makes them the strongest yet.
